What are my responsibilities?

As a Chef de Partie you are part of the Kitchen team. You will take the lead in operations, supported by a Demi Chef de Partie, with a strong focus on our event venues and conferences. Your role will include ensuring food quality, adhering to hygiene and safety standards, and staying on top of the latest food trends. You'll bring our "Meetings Imagined" concept to life, recognizing that meetings are about more than just tables and chairs. We ask that you cook with passion, creativity, and innovation. In addition, you'll play a key role in the preparation and service of food for our Room Service, Ambassadors Canteen, our newly designed bar, and other upcoming beverage and food outlets.

You are responsible for providing our guests with an inspirational stay with unique discoveries they will always remember and want to share with their world!

We are looking for a Chef de Partie with a passion for food and who brings personal style to every experience. You are always looking to explore the places one wouldn’t find in a travel guide. To be eligible for this position you…

• Can communicate in English and preferably Dutch.

• Have previous hotel, restaurant and/or kitchen experience, as a Demi Chef de Partie or Chef de Partie.

• Are flexible in working different shifts (morning, evening, weekend), which makes your job even more diverse.

• Have a passion for hospitality.

A unique opportunity is awaiting you in the city center of one of the most dynamic markets in Europe. We are excited that the Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel is currently undergoing a full transformation. A major investment has been made in the hotel which will result in completely renovated guest rooms and public areas, including a brand-new bar, restaurant and rooftop bar & terrace. The hotel will expand from 402 to 500 rooms and an additional conference center will be constructed. The Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel has a very high focus on sustainability and will aim to become an enhancement to the city of Amsterdam.
